One of the first things that struck me as strange when I first landed in the US was the darkness. I landed at 8pm and it was dark. Completely dark, not just dusk. That was in LA which is quite far south, but still. After not having seen the darkness in the last month or two, it was a bit strange.
I spent the first hour or two out of the airport mentally jumping everytime I heard people using English too. Luckily, that wore off pretty quickly.
It feels a bit odd to be home really. After having been gone for 10 months... it doesn't really feel like I've been gone. My dad drove me around to see all the new things in town, but it doesn't really feel like I've been gone more than a month or something.
The one thing that helped me understand a bit about how long it has been since I've been back here is visiting my younger cousins. The oldest of the three is going to start highschool in the fall. Thankfully even the youngest still recognizes me! ;) I still haven't seen my brother, but maybe he'll come by sometime. This afternoon we're driving out to my grandfather's place and we're going to visit and spend the night there.

Wow! A lot of news to take in this early in the morning. I have been wondering why there was no updates lately but now I know ;)
Good luck with everything!
And here in Sweden, life goes on. :) We´ve been drunk, which was fun. I´ve had my first meal in your new apartment, from krysset. Nice cheeseburger in front of the TV using a stool as table.
Next week I´ll probably be helping David doing some serious work to the place before I go off to Italy. Mhm!
oh good! Help David get lots of stuff done so that I have a really nice apartment when I get back. ;) I hate doing things that resemble physical labor! Give me a nice desk job and lots of numbers and excel documents any day!
