Late April Fools

Just imagine if some of the stories reported yesterday were true, the world would look a lot different:

- Microsoft would have acquired openoffice.org
- China would have acquired Google
- Slashdot would have gone pink
- Google would have opened a dating site
- George Lucas would have approved an 'adult' series of star wars books.
- Scientists in California would have figured out to genetically engineer a dragon and a uniform.
- People would be rushing out to buy their 'wireless extension cords'

Oh, and it's a bit more than a month until I'll find out if I was accepted into the Masters Program at Uppsala. About now I wish I had some friend who was friend with whoever is sorting applications. I'd like some sort of clue like 90% are from China and don't qualify. Information, I need information! Ok, so I'm nervous. Hopefully I won't remain so for the next 48 days or whatever it is until I graduate.
