It's actually raining right now! It's wonderful since it gets some of the pollen out of the air and really drops the temperature. It's almost 11am and we still have the windows open!
This next week until I leave to go back to Sweden is going to be packed! I've got a bit more shopping to do, a quilt meeting with mom, a bbq with the family, a trip to Reno, packing, socializing, and whatever else comes up! Fun fun fun! I miss David though. And I can't wait to see how wonderful the apartment looks since he's put a full month of effort and work into it!
And at the family bbq I'm finally going to get to see my brother. It's been almost a year since I last saw him. It's really nice that he's found time in his busy schedule to come and visit while I'm back in the US. Hopefully I'll get a job once I'm back in Sweden and have enough money to fly home again at Christmas, bringing David with me.

Boating
Well, today I went out boating with my family and my uncle's family. It was a lot of fun!
Tomorrow is the 4th of July. I haven't been around to celebrate it with my family in a couple of years, so I'm looking forward to this. We won't be doing much with the fire danger so high, but I will spend the day shopping with my mom. A nice AC building when temperature is in the triple digits is quite nice!
This weekend I'll be doing lots of chores around the house. I'll spend quite a few hours helping my dad split wood. Deadly boring, but I need the money if I'm to get that apartment livable. Wallpaper and painting and the worst of the fixing comes first. Then when I get a nice chunk of money saved up, I'm going to redo the kitchen! I want a dishwasher, less ugly cabinets, and to remove a wall. And of course probably fix some of the wallpaper/paint. I spend quite a lot of time in the kitchen, and I'd rather it not be an ugly cave! The kitchen is almost as isolated as the bathroom is! But again, that is in the far future. My uncle just finished building a new house. The kitchen there is just wonderful! I wonder if I'll ever have a house that nice so that I can justify having a really nice kitchen!
Anyways, with lots of shopping tomorrow, I'm off to bed! I hope everyone back in Sweden is having a nice time with the (hopefully) cooler weather!
